Discover the fundamentals of wine tasting in this in-person exploration session (postcode dependent). Six bottles of wine will be delivered before the event, and sampled during the tasting session. Our expert will guide you through each wine, answer any questions you may have, as well as offer recommendations based on the ones you enjoyed.

The kit includes: 6 x bottles of 75cl wine, which will be delivered before the experience date, or they can be collected from your local Waitrose. Please note at home experiences are postcode dependent.

DISCOVER Wine — virtual Experience

Discover the fundamentals of wine tasting in this online exploration session. Six miniature bottles of wine will be delivered before the event (one sparkling, two white and three red). Our expert will guide you through each wine, answer any questions you may have, as well as offer recommendations based on the ones you enjoyed.

What to expect:

• Learn the basics of wine tasting in a private session with your friends or family
• Understand the basics of food and wine pairing
• Recommendations
• Try six wines at home
• Q&A with our WSET-qualified specialist

The kit includes: 6 x miniatures of wine, 2 x ISO tasting glasses, 1 x tasting card, 1 x branded pen The wines we’ve chosen include a sparkling Cava, a lovely crisp Sauvignon from New Zealand and an English wine made from Bacchus grapes. They are followed by a crisp dry rosé from Provence followed by a quintessential Rioja from Spain and a delicious organic Primitivo from Italy.

Gin O'Clock — Virtual Experience

Discover the steps on how to make the perfect G&T, then sit back, relax and enjoy while listening to the fascinating history of gin, and learn what botanicals are used in your favourite tipple. Serve the remaining gins straight initially and appreciate the aromas, before pairing with their relevant Fever-Tree tonic.

What to expect:

• Learn how to make the perfect G&T
• Learn all about the fascinating history of gins
• Discover the botanical blends in your favourite gins
• What garnishes go with which gins

The kit includes: 6 x miniature gins, 6 x assorted Fever-Tree Tonic waters, 1 x tasting card, 1 x branded pen and 1 x gin balloon. The 6 gins have specifically been chosen to showcase the differences between all the various styles within the category.
